We are still in need of someone to step up as Area Treasurer as Gillian is standing down after 8 years and the area cannot function without a treasurer. We just want someone to do the treasurer role not all the extra jobs Gillian has taken on over the years. It really is quite straight forward and Gillian will support the person taking over.

We also need an Area Co-ordinator and Carolyn would support with this. Applications forms from National office, Carolyn or Gillian.

While we continue to look for support for the above roles we are thrilled to let you know that Sarah Mason who was elected onto the National Committee at the AMM in October will be supporting us as South East Area Liaison Officer.

Carolyn visited them on the 8th July. Karen Pritchard demonstrated how to make the material effect when covering a cake.

Eddie Spence M.B.E
It is with great sadness that I have to tell you that Eddie died last week. He was one of the great Sugarcrafters. I know we will all miss his wonderful sense of humour and smiling face at events all
over the country. He never failed to encourage anyone interested in the art of Sugarcraft,
Our thoughts of love and support are sent out to his wife Tracy and family.
